From 08:00 on 11/11/2024 (GMT+7), applicants who want to apply for Vietnam e-visa can only apply for Vietnam electronic visas (e-visas) through a new web portal

What’s new on new Vietnam e-visa official website?
New Domain Name: Shorter and Easier to Remember
One of the most noticeable changes is the new domain name. The previous website had a relatively long and cumbersome URL that could easily be forgotten or mistyped. With the new domain https://evisa.gov.vn/, the website is now more concise, intuitive, and user-friendly.
The new address is designed to be easier for applicants to recall, especially for international visitors who might need to access the site multiple times during the Vietnam e-visa application process.
Clearer Layout and More Information: Instruction, FAQ, and Contact Us Sections
Instruction Section
One of the major additions to the new site is the Instruction section. This part offers a step-by-step guide to help applicants understand the entire Vietnam e-visa application process, from start to finish. It includes detailed explanations of entering visa declaration information, paying application, or searching application.
Besides, it also provides notices about the obligations of foreigners and types of passports that cannot be issued with visa. All of these instructions will significantly help foreign visitors during the Vietnam e-visa filling process.
FAQ section
The new website has been enhanced and updated, featuring a Frequently Asked Questions section in both English and Vietnamese, which makes it more user-friendly for international visitors.
Here, applicants can find answers to common queries, such as eligibility requirements, processing times, and payment methods. This section is particularly useful for addressing concerns about common mistakes, and helping users avoid delays or rejection of their Vietnam e-visa applications.
Contact Us Section
You can contact Vietnam Immigration Department via email or the hotline listed below for direct support from the Immigration Department.
Besides, now you can send online support request information to Immigration via the “Contact Us” section. All you need to do to send a request successfully is fill:

New “Save Form” Feature for Convenience
In addition to these informational upgrades, the new Vietnam e-visa website has introduced a much-anticipated feature: the Save Form option.
This new feature reduces frustration and allows for a smoother and less stressful visa application experience. The saved form can be easily retrieved through the applicant’s email or account, where they can check or update their information before submitting the final Vietnam e-visa application.
Also, applicants can keep a copy of the SAVED FORM in order to double check the details in the Vietnam e-visa application to see if they are all exact.
