01 What is Vietnam visa on arrival?

Vietnam visa on arrival is a type of visa that you will get visa stamped on your passport at Vietnam airport upon arrival with an approval letter. Approval letter is a type of letter which is granted by Vietnam Immigration Department after you apply it online within 2 working days in normal service. For this type of visa, you don’t have to go to Vietnam Embassy to get visa on your passport. It will save your time and your money.

02 What information do I need to provide when completing the online form?

In order to apply for an approval letter, you need to provide the following details:

  • Full name (as in your passport)
  • Date of arrival
  • Date of birth
  • Port of arrival
  • Gender
  • Type of visa
  • Passport number
  • Purpose of visit

03 What is difference between single entry visa and multiple entries visa?

This is the number of entry that allows the travelers to enter Vietnam during their visa term.

With a single entry visa, you are allowed entering and exiting only one time during your visa term. When you exit Vietnam, your visa is automatic invalid although your visa term is still valid. This is an important point for travelers to take note.

For multiple entries visa, you can enter and exit Vietnam many times as long as your visa term is valid.

04 Where can I download the entry and exit form?

This is a form which you have to complete and submit to immigration officer at Vietnam airport together with your visa letter to get visa stamped onto your passport.

This form will be attached with your visa letter and sent to your email after we receive the result from Vietnam Immigration Department.

In addition, travelers can download the form on our website in tab “download form” or contact us by email: support@vietnamvisavoa.com if you can not get the form by two ways above.

05 Can I enter Vietnam earlier the granted arrival date in the letter?

Vietnam Immigration Department will grant a visa letter with the arrival date that you will receive visa stamp at Vietnam airport. If you change your plan and would like to arrive in Vietnam earlier, you are not allowed with that letter.

You are only allowed entering Vietnam after the arrival date in the letter but not before. Therefore, to avoid some hassles, please carefully consider the date of arrival before applying a visa.
