If you have only one week in Vietnam, make it count! Here is the suggestion for your 7-day holidayto see the best of Vietnam.

It is recommended for you to enjoy most famous places throughoutthree regions of Vietnam: the North, Middle and South.

Day 1: Hanoi - A glimpse of the Old Quater

Hanoi is captital of Vietnam that is located in the north, you can easily access this city right after landing at Noi Bai airport (45 km from the hanoi center). You should visit main attractions such as: Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter Hanoi, a city that exist its state from a hundred years back. You will get a deeply cultural and ancient experience.

There are many other attractions that you should not miss include the Temple of Literature - the first national university of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum -the resting place of Vitenamese Revolutionary leader and president Ho Chi Minh. Also, you should visit Ho Chi Minh complex first in the morning and visit others stops in the afternoon. In the evening, it is ideal time to enjoy Hanoi street foods such as pho (Vietnamese noodle), banh mi (Vietnamese bread), bun cha and many other delicious ones in the Old Quarter. After that you can take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter.

Day 2: Hanoi - Further excursion around the city


In the morning, you should visit National Museum of Vietnamese History designed by a French architect. Then you can get back to the Hoan Kiem Lake and watch water puppet show at Thang Long Opera Theatre right besides the lake. In the afternoon, travel to Long Bien Bridge and West Lake to see the sunrise in one of the most beautiful streets of Hanoi.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay - Natural wonderland

This bay is one of the main attractions in Nothern Vietnam that all tourist should visit at once. Recognized as the World Heritage site bu UNESCO, Halong Bay is a really thing offering you the best explore. A thousand of limestone islands lying on the emeral water that serve you a really good vibes and breathtaking view, too. You can take a full day tour of Ha Long Bay, however, for the best experience you should choose a tour 2 days - 1 nightthere.

Day 4: Ninh Binh - New heritage of the world


You should take one day trip to Tam Coc, Ninh Binh. You will see a lot of beautiful caves with very peaceful roads and get relax on the ride with bicycle there. Taking a boat tour is the best way to comtemplate the whole view of this amazing landscape.While gliding along the river, you would enjoy rice paddy fieldswith a ton oflimestone mountains peaking up towers over you, what's more amazing! Also, you can visit Thung Nham where is home of large number of diverse birds and unique ecosystem.

Day 5: Hoi An - To charm to be real


Hoi Anis one of the most unique and charmingcities in Vietnam. The Old town is recognized by UNESCO as heritage site. The old architecture is superbly preserved and displayed. You can stroll along the Old town and explore the city by checking out the most famous bridge in Hoi An. The first stop is the historic Japanese covered brigde built by Japanese merchants when Hoi An was an important trading port.

You will feel amazed when enjoying street food in Hoi An and see the old colonial architecture from the old time and go shopping here. In the evening, let visiting the Lantern market and enjoy night entertainment. In fact, it is big centre for paper lantern manufacturers and merchants.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh city - The pearl of the Far East


You should explore the major part in the history of the Vietnam War with French colonial architecture including Notre - Dame Basilica and the Saigon Central Post Office. You should not miss the War Remmants Museum which presents the chilling and horrific war relics. Ben Thanh market is a great place to enjoy local cuisine here. In the evening, you can enjoy the night by sitting at back packer streets in Pham Ngu Lao, Bui Vien...sipping some beer or coffee and chatting with funy friends.

Day 7: Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta

Cu Chi Tunnel is a great place for those who are interested in Vietnamese history. Coming there you will explore the Viet Cong soldiers' life during the war. Then you can trek the largest rice bowl of Vietnam. You can enjoy a drive through My Tho countryside and feast your eyes with the Delta’s coconut palms, fruit orchards and sugar-cane groves. Nothing is more attractive than the floating market here.
