Official: New Vietnam visa policy approved on (14/08/2023)
• 3 month multiple entry Vietnam Evisas will be available from 15 August 2023.
• Citizens from all countries are now eligible for Vietnam e-visa program. Before that, only 80 nationalities were eligible for Vietnam evisa.
• 09 more ports of entry have been added to the list of eligible entry/exit points. Vietnam evisa now is accepted at 42 international borders including land borders, international airports and seaports.
• Regular passport holders of 13 countries will be exempt from Vietnam visa for 45 days instead of 15 days as before.

Vietnam evisa application form

Every applicant can submit their Vietnam evisa request at the official website of Vietnam Immigration:
Applicants follow the 3 steps as below to complete the Vietnam evisa application form
Step 1: Fulfill required information
• Upload foreigners' passport data page image and photograph (straight looking without glasses);
• After this step, registration code will be sent to the applicant;
Step 2: Pay Vietnam E-visa fee Online
• - $25/single-entry electronic visa
• - $50/multiple-entry electronic visa
Step 3: Check your Vietnam evisa status
Enterthe registration code, registration email and date of birth to check result in E-visa search menu. If being approved for E-visa, please print E-visa to enter/exit Vietnam.
Processing time:3-7 working days. In many cases, you expect to get result after 10 working days. In case your visa application still shows the status “processing” after 10 working days, it is likely that your Vietnam visa request is declined.
Note:Vietnam evisa is opened to all nationalities does not mean that everyone who submit Vietnam evisa application will be approved. In case your Vietnam evisa application is declined, official fee (25 US for single entry or 50 US for multiple entry) is still being charged by Vietnam Immigration Department.
