Q1. What are requirements for Vietnam visa on arrival?
Quite simple, just submit a visa application form online with your passport detail. Make sure that it is valid at least 6 months since your date of entry.
Q2. I am not sure about my exact entry- exit date yet. Which dates should I write in the visa request?
If you are not sure of that, you can note down your tentative dates. The arrival date should be the earliest you plan to arrive. Accordingly, your visa expires within 1 or 3 months afterward.
Q3. What if I change my arrival airport?
There is no issue at all. You are able to fly into any Vietnam International airports include Hanoi, HCM, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hai Phong with your visa letter and get Vietnam visa stamped there.
Q4. How long does it take to get my Vietnam visa approval letter?
On normal basis, it takes 02 working days and 01 working day for urgent service. It takes you a longer processing time like 5-7 business days if you ask for business visa or you come from countries in Africa, South Asia
Q5. How do I receive my visa Approval Letter?
Your Vietnam visa approval letter will be sent to your email which you used to apply for Vietnam visa.
Q6. Where do I collect my Vietnam visa stamp?
Your Vietnam visa sticker will be issued at landing visa area once you arrive in Vietnam International airport.
Q7. What is stamping fee?
Stamping fee is paid directly at Vietnam airport to get your Vietnam visa sticker on your passport. Stamping fee would vary depend upon your visa type.
Q8. Can I use credit card to pay for stamping fee?
No, you can’t. Credit card is not accepted yet and you must pay stamping fee in cash, most recommended to pay in USD.
Q9. Do I have to show on ward tickets upon arrival?
No, you don’t have to. However, for some special cases, Immigration do reserve the right to ask you to present return flight tickets.
Q10. Do I need any photos?
Yes you do. 2 passport photos are required to submit upon arrival
