APPLY VIETNAM VISA FOR JAPANESE CITIZENS

Being a Japanese passport holder, you are not required for Vietnam visa
Japan citizens are granted to enter Vietnam for 15 days without Vietnam visa. However, there must be a gap of at least 30 days between the next entry and the previous exit, if they want to get another free visa. If Japanese passport holders stay in Vietnam for more than 15 days, a Vietnam visa is still required.
How Japanese passport holders get visa to Vietnam?

1. Apply directly at Vietnam Embassy/Consulate

General requirements:
• Original passport: Passport validity must be at least 6 months prior to the trip
• Completed Vietnam visa application form
• 01 passport sized photo
• Vietnam visa fee
• Other required documents.
Processing time: 3-5 working days

2. Apply online for Vietnam visa on arrival

Procedure to get Vietnam visa on arrival:
Step 1: Submit a Vietnam visa application form online
Step 2: Pay Vietnam visa service fee online
Step 3: Receive Vietnam visa approval letter via email within several working days, print out, get on plane to Vietnam
Step 4: Arrive in Vietnam, show the documents, pay stamping fee in cash and collect Vietnam visa sticker.
Vietnam visa fee for Japanese citizens
To apply for a Vietnam visa online, you have to pay two (02) kinds of fees: Vietnam visa Service Fee and Stamping Fee.
- Service fee is paid online in advance to Vietnamvisavoa.com to process and acquire a visa approval letter, which is subject to change because of Vietnam visa policy.
- Stamping fee is paid directly in cash to the Immigration Officer at the Vietnam airport.
